Not really. I think he is a very underrated manager. He has achieved well at most of the clubs he has been at, expect Inter, and what he did at Liverpool isn't given the credit it deserves. That team had no right to win the Champions League and get as close to the title as they did. He only left because he took the blame from the fans that should have been directed at their owners.

He is relatively polite and respectful in press conferences. He only got in trouble because he took on Fergie and wasn't good enough to deal with the fightback. The way Ferguson's friends (or those managers who aspired to be his friend) stuck the knife in whenever they could has always counted against Sir Alex in my book.

I tend to agree. I have no issue with him.

Jose's record in Germany is not good.

I'm not doubting his ability as a manager, just i've never heard another manager say they like him/get along. Also you don't hear many players singing his praises. I read Craig Bellamys book, from what he said when Benitez was at Liverpool no one liked him, many hated him and his way of managing players. The way he told Bellamy he wanted to get rid of him seems to sum him up.

You can understand the point he made too, Ferguson has slated two of his best players during his time at the club in Beckham and Keane. Without them he probably wouldn't have won as much as he did. He hasn't shown much loyalty to them.

Dortmund are one of the best teams in Europe, can't give them an inch. I was hoping to win one of these games however.
