You could as that is how i have always viewed tv through it, however you can't use the OneGuide so it will be just like watching normal tv with instant access to the console. I recommend it i cant imagine going back to just having tv and no console on.

I don't see the point without Kinect or an IR extender. It just means you need to use an extra remote (and more power) to watch TV, with the only benefit being freeing up an HDMI port on the TV.

Another update for the new dash was installed last night, still not fixed my MKV issues though.

Battlefield Hardline now available on EA Access.

If there is anyone who opted for the new dash and hasn't got it yet, then expect to get it in a day or so as everyone who opted in will now get it.

Just invited you into the preview program, this doesn't mean you will get the new dash before it is released in November though, you should get a message about the program though at some point.

I don't think MS is taking anyone new at the moment :( It cut it right down last month or the month before due to so many people applying (probably for the BC).

If you do get excepted it'll be days or weeks before you hear if I remember correctly.
