Just to clarify, I am on the VIP package so do I have to do anything to enable the extra film and sport HD channels or will virgin do that automatically for me.

Thanks DF. In that case I think I'll stick with my 6 month discount from the CEO office and see what the revamped package brings. A VM engineer has recommended against me upgrading to 50Mb in past due to our area being so oversubscribed by students anyway.

Hoping someone can help me I have now got the HD channels(Sports and Movies) and since its been on Ive got a £20 Credit on My Account what could that be all about?

Its was not on there before the HD Channels went on and im on the VIP Pack with 20Meg but end of the month will be on 50Meg.

Any ideas guys please.

I can confirm I now have the sports and films in HD without doing anything, and broadcasting in DD 5.1 which makes all the difference.

This maybe a sneak preview of the new V.I.P package that is in the works in that case, 50mb broadband + the sky HD premiums added to the basic V.I.P everybody gets?

Do you save any money with the VIP compared to the XL, You know with you getting Sky Sports HD free on VIP. Just that Im on XL and soon to be £29.50 is alot.

You are already getting a good deal so I doubt you will benefit from getting VIP unless you watch a lot of films, IMO

i'm not sure if thats right, think the £5 might have been for the sky sports from the month before or something?
