Yes, I think 2-2 is unlikely now

Man City haven't been good. Newcastle seem to be off the pace, which is strange for a newcastle team playing at home

It's not strange, it's typical, it happens every single game in which we can't field the 11 we had out last year. One injury destroys everything because Pardew and co failed to build on last year. Yohan Cabaye and Hatem Ben Arfa injured, the difference 2 players make to our squad is unbelievable. The only reason we scored is because city played like crap.

The statement read: “Northumbria Police has received a report of racist language having been used at the St James’ Park stadium during the Newcastle United versus Manchester City match today.

"Northumbria Police take such allegations extremely seriously and inquiries are ongoing into the incident."
Player under investigation is Kolarov.

Premier League: Arsenal's Jack Wilshere set to sign new contract

England midfielder Jack Wilshere expects to sign a new contract with Arsenal in the 'next couple of weeks'. The 20-year-old, who missed last season through injury, has been in talks with the club and his new deal at Emirates Stadium is reported to be set for four years. And Wilshere's commitment would dismiss any speculation he wants to leave the club amid their current on and off-field struggles. "I am talking to the club and I probably will be committing my future to the club in the next couple of weeks," he said. "I know the team are going through a bad stage at the moment but that is like any team."
