That's a little harsh in my opinion , Sky who have plenty of leverage with its wide range of channels haven't managed to negotiate a wholesale deal with BT its only available on their platform due to the fact its an open one and any channel can join. Who's the company which has complained and complained to OFCOM about Sky Sports availability/pricing and yet the only way you can obtain their sports channel is through them and not on every platform.

well said bud,the chap that phoned me this morning from head office.Stated that they want the channels however they are not willing to pay silly prices if they did they would have to increase charges to us and they are not currently prepared to do that,He did stress that now they are part of a bigger company and with the help of deals done especially with ireland that would help to require missing channels.But even thou he didnt say it he certainly implied that we wont be seeing any new channels for the foreseable future :( |
