How very forensic of you!:)

Good luck with your installation!

Let us know how it goes.:p:

Haha, I know, after I did I thought how sad it was to do that! I just thought maybe he was saying something important I was missing, but all fine.

Thanks, it's tomorrow, but it hasn't hit me yet, been waiting for a year or so for this and it's finally arriving in just 24 hours or so.

Hope it meets your expectations VirginMediaPhil. Not long now until I get mine fitted.

Don't be disappointed if it takes a lot longer. It took my TiVo a full seven days before it had full functionality.:erm:

Not had any phone calls or new contracts in the post yet.

I never received any confirmation call!

I got a call from VM a week before install date to see if I would like to keep my V+HD box for free I took up the offer :), even though I had already said that I wanted it anyway.:erm:

Got a call day before install to see if it was still ok, and the technician phoned 15mins before he turned up. Great bloke new his stuff.

Tell here that Carl says that you never watch anything live with TiVo. Everything is recorded and then watched at leisure.

Had TiVo installed yesterday and V+ moved to another room. All was fine yesterday, but today I have error code 3008 on the V+ and basic channels. Can anyone help?

Not sure if you can - they are for information.

That would have worked so well with the Royal Wedding....:D

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

My parents are watching it live; but do keep pausing it now and again. If I were at home I would also be watching it "live" but also delayed.

As it happens I am also at my parents home but if I was at my own place I would also be recording it so that the Tivo wouldn't attempt to change the tuner at all when three things at once are recording later this afternoon.

So, to clarify, I have never ever said not to watch anything "live" or "at leisure" :( My point was record everything anyway.
