Burnham is a fan of PR, he'll get my vote in perpetuity if he brings that in, imagine everyone's vote actually counting for something and no more of this 30% of the vote and 100% of the power BS

Well said.

I blame the Tories for screwing up so badly.

Well said, the NHS waiting lists that Starmer inherited were a global embarrassment.

Yes, but ultimately you don't have to do what they recommend. A few resignations in the Cabinet over the last couple of years suggests this has happened.

Well said, especially as when they inherited it there was 70% public satisfaction with it

I’m coming round to the idea that news channels should be regulated to only have a percentage of Westminster coverage, and a minimum percentage covering news stories from around the UK.

It’s one big Westminster podcast of tittle tattle.

And there we go.
Keir Starmer announces his resignation as prime minister and leader of Labour Party
Just not quite yet.
Quote:

This will mean a new leader is in place before parliament returns in September.
Until then he will remain in post as prime minister, he says.

And a minimum for covering items from none english speaking countries.

Can we also ban those reporters and 'correspondents' that speak in a dull flat robotic monotone, and those with the squeaky highly exited voice that cuts like a knife.

From what I've heard, that's extremely unlikely.

Nobody else wants to sip from the poisoned chalice, much easier to let the next stooge take the seat, then snipe from the background ;)
