I checked my Tivo box on Wednesday 9th November. Amazon app there alongside all other apps - Netflix etc. Logged into my Amazon Prime account and starting browsing all films, videos etc. Great. Today 11 November no sign of the app! Phoned Virgin, no one there had even heard there was to be an app. Unbelievable!

In that there was some testing of apps and weirdly Amazon Prime was in the choice of apps for a while but then when it was mentioned on a closed forum the next update removed it so as far back as this summer the Amazon Prime app was kind of on the original TiVo but the testers of the software were not asked to test the app and in fact it got removed.
It was like it was on there by accident.

As mentioned you would have thought the week of A Grand Tour would have been prime time to launch it but with how slow Netflix, BBC and just in general the TiVo has gone you can't blame Amazon if they have said we don't want to be associated with that.
