Did I say was going to do that? No, so do not assume thanks. All I was saying is you cannot just say things like that. If a newspaper said what you had said, ntl would have grounds to sue and they would most probably win. In anycase we are draggin this from the main theme of prices rises so lets get back to that.

It's in print, so it's potential libel - and we all know how big libel settlements can be. I'd think seriously about removing that post if I were you.

Ntl have shot themselves in the foot. They are going to no doubt lose many of the 1 meg customers to those that can get adsl and those that cannot will probably drop to 600k. I only had the 1 meg because I was sharing with bopdude and we both where heavy users. Good news for all the adsl providers out there I guess :erm:

is there a list of providers that use there own pipes, instead of using BT's supply line (except for bulldog) ?

Hmmm think i'll drop the tv, no way worth nearly £30 a month... might as well go back to bt for the phone line ( caller id and better 1471 ) i'll keep the broadband incase that trial is a sucess and you can boost your connection etc

I was in the trial. I wouldn't waste the time waiting mate. The novelty wears off very, very quickly!

If you're going back to BT, it may be worth your while having a mooch about www.ADSLguide.org.uk You might just be surprised at what you can get for your money :)
