I hope not, what a waste of airtime.

There are a number of existing UHD channels, just need to get them on VM

Well, if you're talking about Sky and BT channels, you might be waiting a while yet.

Typical! We've been waiting for ages for some UHD programme, then the BBC sneekily puts out a live UHD stream and doesn't tell anybody! How enfuriating!

I had this on my Panasonic TV yesterday - but didn't see it on any other devices.

It's a start which is good to see hopefully more to come

Is this 4K broadcast on the V6 boxes? I seem to remember the Blue Planet series was missing whilst Sky Q boxes were able to show it

The problem is, the stream is no longer available, so unless anyone stumbled on this broadcast on Beta, I guess we will never know.

I have said before that I thought we might get the World Cup in UHD. Well, it is now being reported that this indeed may come about via the BBC i-Player.

Will UHD make England perform any better ? As PQ has increased over the years, their performance has declined, there's a definite correlation ;) 1966 crackly black and white - winners !

"For starters, back in February the BBC used its renowned BBC iPlayer app to deliver a live 4K/UHD stream of the Southampton vs West Brom clash in the 5th round of the FA Cup. The stream was also left on loop for some time afterwards"

Looks like they've done a few tests on the quiet away from public access next step clearly now is going live to the public

Wonder if the FA Cup final will be shown as BT will have it in 4K

Well, given all this annoying secrecy over UHD broadcasting, I think maybe we all need to keep our eyes open!
