No list was given on channels set to launch on TVA.

But I do know WHEN they will launch - but am not going to post that date.

MRS is like the long lost forgotten cousin of TiVo that no one really cares about, hardly ever hear from, and they were just wheeled out for show for Christmas and then packed off again without anyone blinking an eyelid and forgotten about since.

:D that was just a selling stunt just to con more people into getting a 2nd TiVo and of course I was daft enough to fall for it

Likewise, and if the next wave of channels doesn't include a load from the 101-199 channels then I'd quite happily drop the extra TiVo and save myself a good few quid a month.

New channels to be added to TV Anywhere.

An insider has confirmed to me that Virgin Media will be adding some extra channels for TV Anywhere for both the website and app 'Very soon'.

Might be the ITV channels they have already confirmed?

What l can never understand from VM is that if a channel is offered Active Channel and the Africa Channel are described as crap channels.

Surely if a major company comes in and offers ie Unversal or MGM onto the system and they wont have it due to money. At the end of the day its US that will have to pay for it, so where is the problems, its not as if the money is coming out of Berketts pocket.

BT Sports and Sky Sports on Virgin Media update.

Info thanks to Daily Mail online:

Quote:

Sky’s concern over the threat from BT Sport is also understood to be part of the reason for the delay in agreeing a carriage deal with Virgin for their cable customers to access Premier League matches next season.

Sky, who had to pay far more than expected for PL rights because of BT Sport’s entry into the market, need to recoup some of that cost by charging Virgin more for their platform contract. And they will be wary of Virgin bundling BT Sport’s PL games into subscription offerings.
