I've just watched on the BBC website about our gold in dressage....

How on earth is this an Olympic sport? It's basically horse dancing!

I don't usually watch gymnastics, but Epke Zonderland taking the Gold in the Horizontal Bar is absolutely spectacular.

Worth a watch

I'm waiting for a slowmo to figure out what exactly he's doing :spin:

what's happened is that over the last few days we won so many golds that the cd with the national anthem on it has worn out so we have to get another one before we can win anymore, and given the issues with copyright law there is a problem .I've emailed the ioc and suggested we use chariots of fire instead so we can get back to winning more golds :D

You do know they use that as well, don't you? To introduce the medal ceremonies :)

I have one question.

Why was that chap penalised 15s in the Triathlon? Okay, to clarify. I know why he was penalise but I want to to know how you can possibly get on your bike too soon!! Surely the idea is to complete the course as quickly as possible?

There is a zone designated for the changeover, he jumped on the bike just before the start of that zone

I have had enough of Olympics. I wish it was over. Sorry to say to all you sports people But there is hardly a Tv station without it. The daily papers are three quarters full of sports and even the radio stations. I feel like screaming. SORRY

Hardly a TV station without it? I've attached the prime time viewing for tonight and circled the stations showing the Olympics. A whole two out of this subset of 25 channels.
