This is why it's called a 'Soft Launch'. This is a significant increase in the amount of OD content available in one go so will take a while to arrive for everyone

Everybody on the Barnsley headend will have the same. You have to wait for it to be updated.

Ok I'm probably jumping the gun, missing the obvious and/or asking a "suck eggs" style question..

The VM website says on the subject, "By the end of October several hundred hours of TV shows and On Demand programmes from Sky will have been added and will be available instantly across:"

The Sky site (http://tinyurl.com/6gfa89n and the equivalents for different genres), shows what looks like several hundred hours worth, certainly dozens and dozens of individual "items".

I probably know the answer, but VM OnDemand will eventually have the same content as any Sky box will list? In which case... I can totally understand this wee collection will take a while to upload...

So far :
Sky Movies 20 films
Sky 1 4 series - 17 episodes
Sky Living 15 programmes
Sky Arts A beautiful Tragedy.

This is a d*** site more than I had last week
SO PLEASE STOP COMPLAINING - IT IS HAPPENING FOLKS !!

Perhaps the announcement was a bit premature:
Should have said "Sky Anytime is being tested across some regions in the next
couple of weeks, and hopefully will be available by the end of the month"

The Sky Movies Collection will put in place 500 movie titles.

The Sky Sports Collection will give access to highlights from Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League football, international cricket and European Tour Golf.

The amount of VOD content on offer from Virgin Media will increase by a third to over 6,500 hours.

Sky Anytime on Virgin Media has already commenced rollout, initially for customers on Virgin Media’s big basic XL TV tier who will have instant access to popular from Sky1, Sky Living, Sky Arts and Sky News, and in HD where available. From early 2012 selected programmes from these channels will also be made available to M+ TV customers and above through Sky Anytime on Virgin Media.
