mercryground, you've registered for the upgrade right?
Also, I finally hit 10Mbps on SpeedTest, three out of five tests hit 10Mbps.

If you want to be technical, then great, but it's actually ntl Incorporated.
And what does it really matter if I said NTL or Virgin? No difference.

Re: Free 2 to 10 upgrade

Virgin is owned by Sir Richard Branson, it matters, NTL is leasing the name from Sir Richard Branson.

The name ntl Incorporated is not registered with Companies House, but NTL CABLE PLC is registered with Companies House

But I did find this what backs you up!

What is Virgin Media Inc. and what services does it offer?

Virgin Media Inc. is a Delaware corporation and is publicly-traded in the US on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol "VMED".

Where is Virgin Media headquartered?

Virgin Media's Corporate headquarters are located in New York: 909 Third Avenue, Suite 2863, New York, New York 10022

Our operational headquarters are located in Hampshire, UK: Bartley Wood Business Park, Bartley Way, Hook, RG27 9UP

So given that Virgin Media Incorporated is registered in the US it's not going to be in Companies House.

Virgin Media Ltd is though along with several other VM companies - do a search for 'Virgin Media'

Is there a different upgrade time table for Cable and ADSL customers. I am an ex NTL cable customer.

I think thats just for the people who don't register

although in my opinion, thats a bit daft, because its only the tech heads that will read that anyway, and any tech head with sence would register instead of waiting for the times on the timetable...
