Guys think on the 1st august I am 45% sure we wont get bt sports but think I guess virgin no that about 1% or less will leave its a hassle moving virgin make most money on broadband and the tv side is just a add on the more you have with one company the less your likely to leave

I for one would be more excited with mtv classic and sky news hd I have seen sky atlantic and I for one would never watch it in fact I never watch sky 1 or sky living but its personal preference I guess if we get bt sports and sky atlantic on the 1st I bet the next big war on hear will be universal hd and sky sports 3/4 hd o and f1hd

More Premier League matches being shown than ever before on Sky, more tv revenue than ever before, more exposure than ever before because of things like Match of the Day being made available on I player, on arrival manager interviews and all Premier League stadia being reconfigured for new camera positions at the cost of the club's themselves. A measure of this increased exposure is that my team, the weakest in the division, and odds on for the drop, are being televised live 3 times in August alone! That would have been unheard of in any previous Premier League season. I reckon the Premier League, and their sponsors, are pretty pleased with themselves.

Palace are only on Bt because they're playing Man U and then Arsenal. To be honest it's a pita, getting to Old Trafford is never a great journey and now we've got to be there for midday.

I have had Virgin broadband (gaming crap), I have had sky (better at gaming, but wanted more upload) and I am now on BT.

Strange that Virgin think that getting something everyone else has, is somehow earth shattering.

Quick word(s), it isn't. If you get it (note the "if", oft referred colloquially as "Coming soon"), you are merely catching up.

Well I have had cable/virgin media bb for over 10 years no problems for me and if you care to have a look at the thread well done virgin media it's full of people that have been ripped off by bt,I had the pleasure(not) speaking to one of there customers services workers.totally ignorrant going on about bt sports like its the best thing to happen in the last 20 years(let's see we're you are in 3 years when bidding starts) Santana,espn anyone and before you scream we have lots of money not surprised when yer customers try to leave screwing em with a £150 disconnection charge) espn spouted the same what next mc Donald's sports ???

Don't think the Sky subscribers give a rat's Archibald if Virgin get Atlantic and BT Sport, why would they, they already have it makes no difference to them. Don't really get the I'll never go to the dark side stuff, if you can get a better deal either way why wouldn't you change provider?

I've heard an announcement is scheduled for early next week and it will be good news.

The person who told me works in BT but knows a few people higher up and although he doesn't know for certain. He thinks its going to be included in the sports package. That could mean they put the sports package up a few quid to cover the costs etc.

Always chuckle at the whole "believe in better" tag line. Why would you need to "believe" in better, I thought Sky were better;):erm::confused: (well other than poor customer service, poor BB, inferior STB Box, no wishlists, no 8-second rewind/30 second fast forward, no suggestions, no slow-mo button, a picture quality which is lost easily in wind and rain, a satellite dish on your house and a bunch of channels with very poor viewing figures.) The only things Sky do "better" and which do not bother me are Sky Atlantic, BT sports, both probably coming soon, and some HD variants I do not need. (I would like Nat Geo Wild HD though.)

VM customers don't need to "believe in better" we have better already;):shocked::angel:

Colin and Nstokes, I fear you will both be more upset than most in the next few days. Still you will get to watch a bunch of "lesser watched" sports on SS3/4 in HD:D
