Another E-Prance mini 0805 with GPS, this one for my wife's car.
I think the way things are going in car DVR is the way forward, crash for cash and idiots on the road is a worthy and worthwhile investment. Also some insurers like Swinton offer a discount on the policy cost Whig would recoup the cost of the device an a couple of years or less.

One of their half price weekend offers, decent lean stuff too.

Next weekend it's racks of BBQ ribs at £1.24 (500g) and they'll go like lightning as well. They put a limit of 6 per customer but I've seen husbands and wives together but with separate trollies to get twice.

Yes its alright having a limit of so many per customer but many families especially will send their children in as well so l am not sure that it works that well in reality.

The Waterman I am using at the moment is over 30 years old and I am on my 4th nib so thought I would treat myself to a new pen. We went to the Pen Shop this morning and I tried a few out and fell in love with one but it was over £100 so came home and found the same pen a Waterman Expert, for nearly £40 less. Sill not cheap but it's a lovely pen. :)

I didn't buy the shoes I liked last week so the pen will almost be paid for by what I saved on the shoes. :D

Re: What have you just bought?

A long reach professional quality 13mm socket hex flat grip with 1/2" drive. I need it as the rear subframe mounts to the bodyshell on the Metro have reinforcing ribs that prevent a standard socket going on straight and after 21 years of muck and bullets they'll be VERY tight so the 24" breaker bar will be in use.:)

Got to weld the mounting points for an MOT so the frame has to be dropped off to get at them cleanly.

Two rear brake flexible hoses £10 odd including VAT and delivery, might as well replace them while they're accessable.

Driving on the flats means even with a very corroded nut/bolt there's usually enough purchase to get things moving. I have a set at 1mm increments from 10mm to 22mm so one is bound to fit even if the head has wasted down but they're standard length. Absolutely invaluable especially with an older car.

I'll be leaving penetrating oil et-al to try and do its stuff for a few days.

I'm eyeing up some new subframe mountings with the integral bushing on ebay, just needing to get confirmation from members on another automotive site that they are compatible as there seems to have been a detail design change around 1990.

Yes, it works very well especially if you do it regularly. You don't need much - I usually use a teaspoon full or so on a piece of kitchen roll. If you buy fridge magnets make sure you put tape over the magnet to stop the metal scratching the stainless steel which is easily marked.

Bio oil for my scar.

Which is (disappointingly) looking really good. I was looking forward to being in the zip club ;)

Yes dilli Bio Oil is a great product, I used it when I was pregnant with my youngest to help reduce stretchmarks/prevent and I found it to be a fantastic product a little expensive but it does last along time as you don't need that much. I still use it now on my face and hands as I find it's also a really good moisturizer.

A Nord Lead 4 synth. Very nice and definitely a keeper unlike the last 2.

I read Scar as CAR, and I was wondering why Weenie was rubbing car oil on her bump.

I bought a TP-Link 8 Port Gigabit Desktop Switch. So I could convert my 4 wifi devices into wired.

5 port was £30, 8 port was £25.
