well, i have tryed Serv-U and that didnt work either.

How can i uninstall SP1? (i chose to archieve files on the installation)

I'm almost 1000% sure that will not make a difference ppolo99 so give G6 a trial first as I have a feeling it may work where the others have not. (link is in the edit on my last post btw)

Not even sure if it is possible to back-track from SP1 but wonder if "System Restore" would get you back to pre-install settings so that may be an option.

If I can think of anything else will post again later, but that's me outta ideas for now.

I deleted BPFTP, got new one, set it back up. Still doesnt work

Tryed system restore, didnt work

EDIT: But as already said if the problem is that someone is now blocking the use of FXP from work nothing is going to help.

right if found something out, my mate can FXP to me if he has pasv mode turned on!

I dont understand tho , on my server pasv mode is turned off because i have no use for it

LOL That's what we have been saying it is not just the settings on your system that matter but those on each of the machines being used.

Glad it's sorted now happy FXP'ing.

eep hang on, he is the only guy who can do it, iv asked other and it dont work :S

IF it had the side effect of turning on the XP firewall, then, yes. The errors reported do look rather like failures to make a connection because a port is not open.
