Hopefully as a dispatcher, not as a driver! :Yikes:

Has anyone tried Stella Bock - the girly pubs in Leeds only sell it in halfs, as it is 6% - they should try drinking Duval!

If Stella is wifebeater, what is Stella Bock?

Even if it is brewed in Belgium ;) for the French market

Stella Artois is a 5.2% abv global lager first brewed in Leuven, Belgium in 1926 as a Christmas brew, and named Stella after the Latin for "star". Colloquially known as Stella or "wifebeater", it is the best selling premium lager in the UK beer market, and is promoted as an international brand by InBev. In its home market of Belgium, however, it is marketed, priced and sold as a regular lager. It is brewed in Belgium and the United Kingdom, as well as other countries including New Zealand.

it is horrible. I went out for a meal a while ago, and they didn't have any Bitter, so had to settle for Kronnenberg- reasonable by lager standards imo. However they neglected to tell me that they were going to serve me a pint of something that tasted like a cross between mouldy fruit and a badly mixed cocktail. yuck.

Yes, but we're talking about Kronenbourg, not Stella ;)
