Oh dear - how presumptious you are.

NTL - quality channels - yes, choice no.
Sky - quality channels - yes, choice yes.

Stick with NTL - it's your loss, not mine.

As you don't seem to avoid getting personal, I'm leaving this now.

Have fun in your own little world.

I have Sky+. I know on the whole Skys tv services are better than ntls. BUt I was replying to a post about available channels, so I'm not quite sure why you're on about HD & PVR?

Also you don't need to be on top of the exchange to get 16Mbit, as I said before the majority of people connected to an ADSL2+ exchange will see over 10Mbit.
Wow, you must know a lot of people.

Are you on commission OB? ;) :p:

You were talking about completely irrelevant stuff to portray ntl services in a more favourable light so I thought I'd do the same. Treating it strictly on a TV basis Sky win, on an interactive basis Sky win, on a basis of HD / PVR services available Sky win. Only thing ntl have is VOD which hasn't really ignited the imagination so far.

Or I have access to data on line lengths and speeds achieved over ADSL2+. Glib remarks like that are wasted on me, sorry.

Yawn.
Well if you insist on putting down the competition where absolutely possible while bigging up ntl's services. Someone advertising competitor products will get the same remark from me *cough Neil :p:

I'm sure ntl will improve, they've no choice else they're out of business.

No, I wasn't - I was giving my opinion to a bit of Streety's post. What's your problem?

Please please show me where I was putting anything or any service down? I was merely pointing out that more channels does not neccessarily mean better. I really don't see what your issue is with me? Are you spoiling for an argument? Or just bored?

I had this problem in the past, if you have a set-top box, regardless of whether you receive channels, they will charge you rental for that box.

The only way of getting round it is to take out a new contract (yes, a new one for some reason), and get a cable modem fitted in the STB's place.
