guess the days of loyalty and sticking to clubs or long periods of time are gone. But other than fack its Madrid you can't say going to Real is great move for the lad they are in as bad a shape as United these days.

It will, however, be interesting to see what the reaction to Rooney's dismissal is. It will also be interesting to watch Man Utd's first training session.

I doubt it - I think most England fans have already decided Ronaldo was the reason they lost.

Re: Ronaldo

It was nothing to do with Ronaldo. We were a poor team really. All good Premiership players but not as a England team. Look at the first half. Really poor. We only played better when we were down to 10 men.;)

You could charge Ronaldo with ungentlemanly conduct.

But then you would have to charge rooney for being a ugly untallented cretin at least.:D

Just prior to kick off. Rooney was talking to a Portugese player, when Ronaldo walked up and not-quite-a-head-butt-more-head-pushed him. From Ronaldo's face, not a friendly tap either

"...his way off the pitch.

Ronaldo had feigned to head-butt Rooney seconds before the match kicked off as he walked past his club mate to take up his position on the left wing in what appeared another bad-tempered exchange.

As he left the field, Rooney..."
