As far as I am aware (for this region at least, but thought it was nationwide) there are no tier changes, registration or email account changes available til wednesday.
I'm sure your local CS can confirm if this is the case!! |

I'm sure your local CS can confirm if this is the case!!" yep this is the case on this one, checked today. as for speed on the current 150k service. with cache1-brtn.server.ntli.net port 8080 as a proxy server for my LAN I got these speed results: with Tue, 2 Dec 2003 17:52:57 UTC 1st 128K took 7766 ms = 16878 Bytes/sec = approx 140 kbits/sec 2nd 128K took 6859 ms = 19109 Bytes/sec = approx 159 kbits/sec 3rd 128K took 7234 ms = 18119 Bytes/sec = approx 151 kbits/sec 4th 128K took 7641 ms = 17154 Bytes/sec = approx 143 kbits/sec and without a proxy server I got these: without Tue, 2 Dec 2003 17:51:22 UTC 1st 128K took 12281 ms = 10673 Bytes/sec = approx 89 kbits/sec 2nd 128K took 15188 ms = 8630 Bytes/sec = approx 72 kbits/sec 3rd 128K took 9875 ms = 13273 Bytes/sec = approx 110 kbits/sec 4th 128K took 15000 ms = 8738 Bytes/sec = approx 73 kbits/sec what, apart from that I should use the proxy server do these tell me (please forgive my naievity I'm a bit of a beginner to this proxy stuff!) ta |

you shouldnt need to use a proxy server , but if it is working for you at the moment then carry on :)
the results are spot on when you are using it btw :) |
