and thats my point we have people who are getting a fairly stable 2mbit (even with the congestion caused by 10mbit users) yet when they themselves upgrade to 10mbit they actally end up with SLOWER speeds during peak times than they did when they were on the 2mbit. :Yikes:

Since my "upgrade" to 2Mbs my speed fell through the floor!. I spend 8 hours a day in front of an NTL connected PC and, frankly never got > 3Mbs, Realplayer even re configured itself to dial-up settings on more than one occasion. Then something struck me, the CM had been hidden behing the telly, BUT it did have lights flashing 24/7. It did this after several reboots and several ipconfig /renews. A power down over a weekend however resulted in lights that flash ONLY when I'm surfing. I consistantly achieve speeds over 1000k downloading from MS. (I'm a Microsoft Certified Learning Consultant).

Thought this info may help someone.
