Hooray, a week and a day after it died, I'm back online. Now to spend the next hour tweaking the server out of dial up mode.

Yes absolutely. Just got to work out the options.

Bottom line is that I paid for a service marketed for business use. If the ISP can't accept that a business will be relying on it's services, and can't pressurise the organisation with whom they are contracted to ensure a service will be repaired if faulty within a reasonable timescale, they don't deserve my custom.
