Re: We all want to know!
On my latest bill it states 1 & 2mb will have unlimited access jan 2006

Re: We all want to know!
Right so that means that i will go unlimeted this month. If changes have been made already than why does it still say theres a mothly limit on ntl's website?

Re: We all want to know!
I'd just go by what the email says..(from january 06) and download what you want without worrying about any cap.

Then I would imagine that they need to state that, as otherwise they are open to misinterpetation.

Re: We all want to know!
Not really. If you state you are going to give something in January, whether you give it on the 1st, or 31st, you are still giving what you promised.
In my experience, if told they are going to get something in a certain month (rather than BY a certain month), then most people will assume that it can be any day in that month. |
Re: We all want to know!
I'm very interested to find out the date when 1Mbps and 2Mbps services become unlimited (subject to the FUP ;)). Trust NTL to be communicative. ;)

Re: We all want to know!
AFAIK the only certain information on the upgrades is that all ntl cable 1Mb and 2Mb accounts will be upgraded to 10Mb by the end of 2006, and all 3Mb customers should be on 10Mb now (don't know if they actually are). All 10Mb accounts will be capped.
So the only way to upgrade to 10Mb ATM (unless you're lucky - don't know if anyone on the 1 & 2 mb tiers has been upgraded yet?) is to subscribe to the £37.99 tier. If you go to the speed upgrade page, you can check what speed you can be upgraded to: if the result is 10Mb, then you can get 10Mb, if the result is bund03, you're still limited to the 3Mb service. As I said, though, ntl were reckoning that everyone on the 3Mb tier should be upgraded by the end of 2005. |
Re: We all want to know!

---------- Post added at 19:43 ---------- Previous post was at 19:10 ---------- My dad has said he has had an email from ntl saying it will cost an extra £50 to upgrade to 10mB?? |
