1st 512K took 438 ms = 1169 KB/sec, approx 9633 Kbps, 9.41 Mbps
2nd 512K took 421 ms = 1216.2 KB/sec, approx 10021 Kbps, 9.79 Mbps
3rd 512K took 438 ms = 1169 KB/sec, approx 9633 Kbps, 9.41 Mbps
4th 512K took 437 ms = 1171.6 KB/sec, approx 9654 Kbps, 9.43 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 9735 Kbps, 9.51 Mbps


Much better figures obtained during the quiet hours.

Mine's the same. 3 meg if I'm lucky, a slow as 1.5 meg if I'm not. I "upgraded" from the 2Mb online, and have been told by the Injuns that its because the network is being upgraded to do 10Mb and that hardly anyone is getting it.. apart from the 15 people I work with who do, I guess!!

I don't mind wating for the upgrades to occur (if that is what needs to happen), but on the days I only get 1.5 Mb I really do begrudge paying 50% more for 25% less, if ya follow my drift :rolleyes:
