Re: Wireless Internet??
So i would be better off getting the £80 soemthing kit rather than the £40 kit?

Re: Wireless Internet??
Ebuyer is a very busy site and is always very slow.
Not sure guess if you can afford it the the linksys kit will be easier to set up. However if moneys tight and you dont mind spending 20 mins setting things up then the cheap kit will do the same job perhaps with reduced range. Also theres probably 50 members on here with that linksys router so you'll never be short of a bit of help. If you decide the belkin router is the one for you theres a member here thats part of their tech support. |
Re: Wireless Internet??
Money is tight, so i might have to opt for the cheaper version, with doing so, do you know how fast the net will be, and the range is covers?

Re: Wireless Internet??
up one floor will be fine it will be more than enough speed for internet.
routers max speed = 54mbs, your internet 1mbs. Range is dependant on so many things, how thick your walls are, whats in the area interferring etc.... most wireless routers will cover a standard sized house and most will get to the bottom of the garden. |
