I just hope that they get some good stuff done.
They have been conducting tests with plants so taking some up there and seeing if they could build a kind of dome with oxygen in would be a good thing to try out.

They have had the biospheres for many years now ;)

I never said nasa should never go back to the moon but maybe we should sort out the ills of are own planet before we bugger other one up.

Re: Nasa plans return to Moon

That could be exactly what is needed to help this world, something to acheive something for entire countries to celebrate as we take bigger and bigger steps into space and explore new things.

You get a elevator crowded people fight and bicker after a while, that elevator is called Earth and is massivly overpopulated under-resourced and slowly decending into chaos as its natural system is destroyed. It is about time we looked to the stars as a goal to better ourselves not just end up rich fat *******s of a greedy race which was to self interested to actually make something of ourselves.

Re: Nasa plans return to Moon

Some just like to complain about anything the yanks do. I have no problem with this return to the moon. I can see us benefiting from it. We have been trying to sort problems out on this planet for years and years. We will never do it in my life time. This however we will see completed in my life time so lets rock and roll and head back to the moon.

Should world piece break out tomorrow and we all end up getting along then of course i will withdraw my last statement :).

Just one last point. I will sit and watch them do this and applaud them. Not sit there and knock them every bit of the way :)

If only Kennedy hadn't pushed for it back in the 60's, we'd probably have a base on the moon by now and a safe shuttle

Re: Nasa plans return to Moon

I read an article ages ago about Winter Hill. A local rambler was ushered away by Men In Black!! Perhaps they didn't want anyone to discover there stash of Moon Rock !!! :p:

Re: Nasa plans return to Moon

We are explorers by nature.
To look at the stars, arms and minds stretching upwards:
"A man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what are the heavens for?"
