Re: iPod Nano
Yeah thats the thing with my Ipod, it gets scratched really easily.
I'm still happy with my 3G version. The Nano looks cool and is really thin its incredible, though at the end of the day its just another gadget, and mine fits in my pocket fine as it is. The hardcore gadget fans will be adding it to their christmas list, there is no doubt there. |
Re: iPod Nano
Has the mini been discontinued as a result of the release of the nano?

Re: iPod Nano
Yes.

Re: iPod Nano
Hmm, looking on those forums has really put me off getting one.

Re: iPod Nano
we had one into work to photograph a couple of weeks ago for a well known gadget magazine and they do look the dogs nadgers!!
far too small for me though, i've filled my 40gig 3G :Yikes: and still only half way through the collection :erm: |

Ahem. http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/sh...7&postcount=14 :)
Seems to be a major problem and Apple are going to have some grief on their hands. Have you seen some of the brainwashed Apple cult followers in the Apple forum? You have to laugh really :) And I am certainly not going to buy one now. I wasn't that eager to before either... |
Re: Ipod Nano faults
I wasn't going to buy one anyway as
a) They have too low a storage capacity. b) They are too expensive. c) They are not actually that small. Admittedly, they are extremly thin, but are quite tall. d) The screen is too small, and (IMO) being colour is an unnecessary drain on the batteries. e) I have had two iPod 3g's. One was effectively dead on arrival (no screen), and the other is just over a year old, and already needs it's logic board replacing for the second time. That's why I ditched the ipod. |

ipod nano query
just bought one of these as a birthday present. Are they compatable with usb1, cos in the specs it says usb2? i hope it is, but slower.any information greatly appreciated
|
Re: ipod nano query
If it is anything like the iPod mini, it is compatible with USB1, but it won't charge. Apparently USB1 doesn't have a high enough voltage for charging it.
