When I first started playing against the clan all I played was MoH (where I rule ;) ) When I joined the clan I decided to play Cod as not to miss out on playing with the guys. I sucked big time. For about 6 weeks I was moaning at it at first I hated the game lol but it time I started to do well enough.
Get hold of warchest saxo play a while then join the clan its a great laugh and really noone cares if your a crack shot or not in time it will click :D

And Richard did you go to bed at all last night ;)

Re: sick of COD

I used to play MOHAA ALL the time, when i went over to COD (now play COD:UO), i was so bad it was amazing. You got to learn the maps, dont run out in the open all the time (you will die) and remember, its only a game. A lot depends on your connection to the server, you may well see someone in front of you and let rip with a full clip but the guy is not dead, he turn around (on your screen) and he kills you with one shot. What is really happening (cos I followed my mate on Spectator who was having a hard time killing anyone) is the person is not in front of you at all, but has moved since then and your firing into the wall.

My problem, if I play too much COD:UO i am then crap at BF:2 and Visa Versa - half the time I could not care less if I kill 5 people and die 52 times but I understand what you mean when you spawn, die, spawn, die etc...

You can also have "off days" - I have a lot of these...

I suspect it'll be a little quiet this weekend ;)

Having said that I will TRY and get on later. Not sure if I can tho - I have a lot of work to do today as well :(

I have found methods to filter out the servers I will get pwned on and tend to go for the simpler ones with less people on.

< having a major off day I just cant seem to click with this game, the levels are seemingly never ending and new, and even though I have been on it for the latter of 2days now, on and off at all hours in different styled games I am learning nowt.

It just seems that everyone else rules and because I am newbie I dont even get chance to explore and learn how to play because asap I step out anywhere I am dead.

I am seriously thinking about going back to halo and simulator games.

Realistically, in real war if you poke your head above the parapet, someone was likely to disconnect it. COD is quite tactical, stealth can work in many of the game types, rather than the headless chicken mode that I seem to adopt. It's one to persevere with.

Remember that if you are visiting servers, there is a good probablility that some of the players have voice communication (teamspeak or similar), especially if there is a clan present. That gives them an edge as any sightings of movement are reported to others.

Saxo, install ARTraySpy and add the CF CoD server to it, and then you'll be able to see when we're online and can join-in.
