Re: Handwriting

My hand writing was like a drunk spider crawling out of an ink bottle and across the paper.

But a job mad me write in uppercase as it was on important paperwork

It carried on in to the next job.

But when I left that in 2020, I started to retrain my brain to write in lowercase, I did well other than throwing the odd caps in the odd woRd or 2.

I found that a fountain pen helped improve my writing, I keep a daily dairy (journal), and copious notebooks files with scribblings.

Re: Handwriting

My dyslexia is coupled with a graphamotor issue so my handwriting is not good. An italic nib helps but my hands just don't do what I want them to do. The same happens with other manual tasks, it takes me a lot more efforts to actually "do" something that for others. I know what to do, I want to do it but my body just doesn't quite do it. It's not spontaneous, uncontrolled movement or anything like that, it's just I can't quite get the movements all right at the same time.

I have never been formally diagnosed but I googled and think I have graphomotor issues too as I have never been able to write neatly
