OB did clearly say he has "never used it".

The issue is, using co-pilot is something that you may unintentionally do since they are forcing it into everything.

Microsoft - Microsoft Word has Co-Pilot in it, so you have automatically agreed to allow us to use your document however they see fit, regardless of what that document is for.

That is the issue with having it installed, and just by having it installed you technically using it, because Microsoft are making it a core part of Windows and will tie it to everything you do.

Make no mistake, Windows is already a key logger and data harvester, but it's not yet as bad as Microsoft want it to be, the next big update what should be "Windows 12" but will actually be a feature update for Windows 11 is going to make the data collection 100x worse.

I see. I read ‘we may use Your Content to operate Copilot and improve it’ as meaning that if you select Co-Pilot, they could improve your content. That’s certainly what I understood to be the case, and I haven’t noticed any unwanted changes to my documents since this was introduced. Are we perhaps reading too much into it?

How serious are you that you want it removed ??


Have a look at this if this utility does not do it he has videos to debloat your ISO and remove copilot and Recall and so on

Copilot is in the advanced tweaks no idea if it does more than you already have he does not mention it

It is the new microwin that you will need to create your own ISO without CoPilot Recall and whatever else you want removed but you do need a clean install

I saw something about the changes being introduced, but because I am not at home, I cannot access a lot of stuff, because the stupid caravan park that I am at, restrict the internet more than North Korea does!

Cannot download a vpn, cannot connect to a vpn, cannot watch most youtube channels, cannot watch netflix, prime etc because heaven forbid a child hears something or sees something that they shouldn't, especially if they are not staring through the window of the caravan.

I managed to get my travel modem/router to connect for a few days after I got here, but since then, it's been garbage, not even 3g signal, so I have had to pay for the extortionate onsite wi-fi which as I say is so restricted even the people of north korea would think they have freedom using their home internet.

When I get back home and have sorted everything out, I will find the information I saw, but it's basically going to be Microsoft forcing AI/Co-Pilot into as much as possible in the OS, and just by simply installing it, you give them permission to access/scrape your data and use it however they see fit.

Just for reference the ISO creator is still in there at present so you could create a debloated ISO

Co-Pilot started appearing in my word documents at work because apparently they granted us all licences to use it. I raised a ticket with our IT to remove it again, and the revoked my licence, its gone again now.

I am so glad i dont have to worry about Co-Pilot or Recall and the constant checking that stuff i had turned off or removed last month has not been re enabled by the latest and greatest update. That's as long as the update does not brick the system on reboot. I dont suffer company's that crap on me and with everything Microsoft has done over the last few years i feel what ever they do going forward will never reach a level where they regain my trust of them.

Tbf I like copilot. It redrafts my emails to be less offensive. Then I edit it back, otherwise recipients who know me, will know i've used copilot...
