No more holiday for us alas, as both ubable to walk any distance, however many wonderful times spent abroad and at home to reflect on and relive with the help of photos taken at the time. :):):)

Done that , honestly l would say don't. Still have the odd nightmare, and I went 7 years ago.

Going to the Dominican Republic for the last 2 weeks of March, and this weekend just gone we've booked to go to Thailand for the last 2 weeks of March next year.

What else would you call it, Poland it great place to visit, just steer of the camps , you really need a strong stomach for them . Tv does not get close to the horror :td:

I'm sure Poland (in general) is a nice place to visit, but thats not what his post says.

Its very specific "going to Poland in November to visit Auschwitz."
You may consider visiting a concentration camp a "a holiday", I do not, nor I suspect would the majority.

We are hoping to go to Cyprus in September depending on money left after building work. We would aim to go to the NW corner, Polis/Latchi and avoid the Brit heavy areas like Polis, Larnaca, Limassol and the like. Maybe some time in the Troodos.

I would recommend North Cyprus (TRNC) - you can fly to Larnaca, then get a taxi to the North.

Lots of rentals/hotels around Kyrenia.
