Hello & hugh...... wouldn't his view on the industry be a more than bias at his own personal enrichment in the present + years to come? Yes certain types can smell the gravy train of government money & discounts from far off..... Own stock & shares in large equipment supplier corporations etc it raises a fair amount of red flags to say the least. Thinks Nancy + Paul Pelosi for a good example.
#A off the cuff thought >
I noted he worked for the BBC, nothing toward him but I hope he wasn't around youthful aged members of the public... or had 1 on 1 time... The BBC is full of fiddlers. Lead Architect or not

#A side note:
As a 'consultant/running a 'consultancy' that mean promotion of a item of a selling point/idea maybe a fully paid up member of the PRC given where a good amount of equipment/parts comes from even after the government halt. You used the words 'advises Companies' The same methods that pushed all the bulls*t H+S in the work place right.... that shutters work places for nothing. Or drug companies pushing a over priced drug/family of drugs from people with over inflated egos looking for the next power trip... same people yes? All under the very same Uk civil servants with dirty hands?

Where have heard that used before....

Compare & contrast.... Different issue same civil servants.

Just like the covid jab companies that hid behind the government matra.....
Tried to say you have get it to, it's safe..... there no danger in taking it x1 x2 x3 x4..... sudden death. But wait why are they getting pulled all ways with being found to hide internal studies/public trails showing differently - not safe at all, not to mention the firm post mortem results of the latter aka primary cause.
Then you have people suffering from it still living, how are you going to say now to what has been proven hand over fist that all these 'Conspiracy theories' was more than right.

Care to compare?

That’s an interesting mish-mash of conspiracy theories, smears (generally and in particular against a very good personal friend of mine), leavened with a gish-gallop of casuistry and semi-literate and illogical statements.

It’s fairly obvious that your affinity for delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol has not diminished in the time you’ve been away.

And this is why you don’t argue with conspiracy nuts. The refutation just becomes evidence of the conspiracy. There is no reasoned, researched, considered argument here. Just move on.

skanht hugh for that wonderful roster of invaluable thoughts :D.......Nothing like a good flame thread to warm thee cockles up on cold day :)

'mish-mash of conspiracy theories' Which all have come true & been proven in kind plus confirmed.... I don't need prove anything the words speak for themselves dear boy...

'gish-gallop' Now isn't that a big logical word for your mind? Take you long to think it up? ;) Now take your time with you reply ok I'd wouldn't want you to break out in full blown stroke from thought you've been lied too this long. :o:

'casuistry' Now now that must of made you break out into a deep sweaty mess

'semi-literate ' Really... what makes you think your worth my time to check all the x's & z's just for you? You think too hard :erm: That's dangerous

'smears (generally and in particular against a very good personal friend of mine.' Well it's nothing personal against him but a proven point of worry anything to do with the BBC in general do need to remind anybody about the court cases with the past known + yet to be reviled deviants. That with woke-ism makes it a toxic place to nurture anyone in.

'delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol' Well well Haven't you been using your mince pies for a meaningless word. I don't smoke take drugs the street or legal ones so you reaching at things at this point... A classic reaction when someone has little else to work with & gets defensive. You haven't much deganhc either... lead by your nose than your eyes.

Dam! I run out of things to write about.....

The huge £16bn+ merger between mobile network operators Vodafone and Three UK (CK Hutchison) officially completed today, which will change the competitive dynamic of the UK market. The deal is also expected to help improve the national coverage of the latest 5G Standalone (mobile broadband) technologies, but concerns remain over jobs and consumer pricing.

Re: Three-Vodafone Merger

I just received this link in an email

https://www.three.co.uk/why-three/best-ever-network

Quote:

Throughout 2025 we’ll be upgrading our 4G network by enabling Three customers to access new Spectrum available from our merger with Vodafone. Particular quality improvements vary by location, but at least 7 million Three customers should experience an improvement.

Actual speeds may vary and depend on a number of factors including distance from mast, local geography, position of buildings and device used.
So this is a clever way of saying Vodafone masts will be used by Three customers.

Re: Three-Vodafone Merger

It still doesn't help me, vodafone is virtually none existant in my village so I will have to make do with ID(Three) until my contract runs out which is very poor too, so if VM goes down I still have virtually no internet speed unless I climb the roof of my house! Then I'll use a cheap EE network and hope the 4G is better.
