So really only affects those using Outlook to access Gmail. Not any kind off issue if you use the gmail app already for accessing it.

Also not a feature of Samsung Galaxy devices. It's something being done by Microsoft.

As I said earlier, he hasn't a clue what the message is telling him. It can't be a function of the Samsung Galaxy handset as neither I or any other Galaxy user has reported anything near this rubbish.

Infuriating for some maybe, but if someone struggles with this kind of thing and obviously is not being a pain on purpose. Then a little more understanding a patience is needed. :)

Yeah maybe. I find a lot of his posts are very similar as in hard to understand so I can't say it's on purpose or not.

So it is real, well sort of. Due to new security from Microsoft apparently Gmail accessed through outlook will no longer work.

All it says Gmail and Outlook, if you do not use them it will not affect you .

I’m sure it says more than that, as in actuality, you can use them if you upgrade the app (as previously explained, repeatedly).

Could it be under notifications ? If so and you can find itn,pressing it should bring up the details

Only partly true in that Gmail will not be accessable via Outlook unless you upgrade. Gmail will always be accessable on an android (Google system)phone.
