Depends on your requirements.

I wanted similar speeds to VM, so 900/100 was fine.
Also, it was important to me to have a static IP address.

I wasn't bothered about a static IP address but wanted good WiFi so I went with Vodafone as they have the option of a 6E router and 1 range extender with an additional 2 more 6E WiFi extenders if you need. I've got 2 extenders and get 300Mbps at the bottom of the garden.

I did a search on IDNet for FTTP and notice they are now offering higher speed packages of 1200 or 1800 Mb/s down, with 120 Mb/s up.

I dont actually have a router [or network] that can support even 1200M atm, nevermind 1800M, but interesting to note for the future.
