Answering the question literally, I don’t think I’d be offered a hotel room without a TV.

Would I turn down a hotel room without a TV? Not if the room had an integral bath and decent WiFi as per Den.

I don't care about a TV in the room.I'm not there to watch TV.I'm usually visiting someone so I don't spend much in the hotel room because I'm going out.

The last time I booked into a room the TV never got turned on once .! far more important to me is a good WI FI connection ,so when I am in my room I can listen to say LBC or any other media without using my data allowance . ,

We are just back from a stay in an inn for 5 nights. There was a TV in the room but it never went on but we were only in the room to rest as we were attending a Christian camp nearby.

My job takes me all over the country (plus travelling to the East Midlands plus South Yorkshire to see my kids) so I use hotels a hell of a lot (ok I’m talking Travelodge, Premier Inn etc but they’re still hotels) and although they all have TVs I don’t ever recall switching one on.

I just use my iPad and various subscriptions

Commission Festival at the Bath and West Showground. It's our first time there after we outgrew Westpoint near Exeter.

I was working with the 8-11 year olds as a colour captain, I had charge of 15 others who actually sat in groups with the kids, both full and part timers. It was good to get back to this, being in a cattle shed with 300 plus children praising God is good for me. One guest commented that at the start the room smelt of cow, by the end feet.

We have already booked for next year. There was a problem with booking. If you booked on-site you got this years prices but most of the serving options were missing so I filled in as best I could. My wife went in after we got home and prices were unchanged but more serving options so we now have 2 bookings and waiting for the office to open on 4th Sept to get it all sorted.

Still for the first run at the new site and a four year gap thanks to COVID it all ran very well. The kids work also had a completely new team leading who did extremely well. Looking forward to 2024.

I wonder if any motels/hotels still have CRTs? (Maybe a low budget one perhaps)
