Well, I’m going to go for both. I need my laptop for Word and Excel, but I have a big screen telly and I won’t sacrifice that.

I don’t watch TV on my computer; never have done apart from occasionally in the garden.

It’s an issue of choice, really. I see no reason to prefer one over the other.

No internet, no work from home, extra 2-3 hours a day commuting, every day, no on-call.
No TV, no wasted time watching old stuff again, more room in front room, more time reading/studying, more time playing guitar.
