You are completely blinkered.

Maybe Wokingham does not allow the Internet? I suggest you go for a drive, find an internet cafe and you can then bathe in the sea of Tory sleaze :D

You're being silly.

Well from up here in Yorkshire it certainly looks brown and steamy. I'm sure when you get closer it'll smell just the way you imagine it would.

Seph, you seem to be missing what lots of us can see so clearly and that's a very big chunk of your team are bent, or on the make, or just really couldn't care about anyone but themselves. The rest come across as sheeple to scared of independent thinking. I hope there may be some integrity left in the Conservative party but I'm struggling to think of anyone.

Indeed.

Irony is not merely dead, now it’s corpse has been run over by a steamroller, thrown into a wood chipper, set on fire, and the ashes were thrown into the air during a gale-force wind…

The current Tory Party is a clown car that has skidded off the road, careening wildly down the embankment, smashes through a circus, bulldozes a mink farm, and plows into the river, where it bursts into flame, then rolls over and explodes, raining down smoking clown shrapnel and flaming weasels over a terrified countryside*

I'm definitely not blinkered. The current government is crap. The corruption in this instance lies with Boris, who has no scruples and is a serial liar.

As to "my team", the principal ministers I like are Braverman, Wallace, Keegan.

As to "the integrity left in the Conservative Party" - I am that soldier.

There you go, running with the group think - and well OTT. I'd bet that the Tory Party is heavily loaded with decent people who are horrified by what the government has done in their name.

One question is where the £800k lent to Johnson came from.

We know that Johnson's distant cousin in Canada (Blyth) guaranteed it but we don't know the lender - be it a rich person, bank or other entity.

A credit facility, perhaps?

There were some decent moderate Tories but many of them were booted out of the party 6 years ago.

As I said, it could be be it a rich person, bank or other entity. It's interesting that the lender's name has not been disclosed.

You're overthinking this, Andrew. If you need £800K, go to a bank who'll ask for a guarantor. Simples.
