Is there a source for this? The "London Wi-Fi" is operated by O2 on behalf of the City. Has VM migrated its other hotspots to O2?

So they are not providing VM customers with access to their own WiFi hotspot system ?

So basically, they are winding them down ?

It looks that way. I just checked the O2 WiFi hot-spot map to see if it was only going to be available to mobile customers, but the Virgin hotpots aren't on that map either. An odd decision given how much effort went into rolling it out in the first place. I find it a useful benefit too, so it's a shame it won't be available to me after the next time I have to haggle.

The cynic in me wonders if it's all a ploy to upsell bigger mobile bundles...
