He's living in the US now I believe. So those concerned he shouldn't be living here can now worry about other stuff instead.

I think he trains in the U.S but lives here. A lot of athletes train in Oregon because of the predictable weather, high altitude and space.

Do you think he is making this up?

Since you ask, I neither know, nor care, if hes made it up or not.
I do, however, question the motives of waiting until you are nearly 40 (and famous) before happening to bring it up.
