There is a possibility the cable is a generic and there is always a chance all the cables use the same generic chipset so perhaps try these drivers https://www.driverscape.com/download...transfer-cable nothing ventured and all that

It genuinely sounds like you may be spending too much time on something that simply is not going to give you any value over another option already listed for you.
