No when we first got this computer we were on dialup (It was in my moms room) .. Now we have cable and its in my room :)

The age of it and OS its running probably have something to do with it.

Reboots initiated by the system either due to a call or error are not random. There will always be a reason. A bit of hunting in event logs, system logs or mini dump will usually get you the answer.
