Yup. It’s called fraudulent conveyance and was outlawed by Elizabeth I. There’s modern legislation covering it today. if they think it was done to avoid paying out creditors then creditors can ask the courts to undo whatever financial manoeuvring was done to try to put assets beyond the creditors’ reach.
