Oh well, if people still use Internet Explorer of any kind they're asking for trouble. :)

They are if i built the websites :p:

Clients don't have the budget to support Internet Explorer and the dedicated work it requires to work the same as other browsers... So I simply put a full screen unsupported message up pointing users to use a modern browser which follows modern standards, rather than a browser which has only received security updates for the last few years.

Not really mate.... Hardily anyone is programming for IE6 for example now so I just dont use those sites if they dont render well enough to use it......

Whats sad is when they change something THAT IS FINE AND WORKS FOR ALL BROWSERS to something that only works good on NEWER BROWSERS...... Why change it if it works fine on newer browsers anyway??

Its sad not all browsers can recognise the same things.......

Because programming is becoming more efficient and you can do a lot more now with each language than you could when IE6 was released. If no one advanced any further with programming then we'd still be on crappy sites with every aspect in iframes.
