It has a listing of all movies and series to be shown on the Disney+ service.

Disney has revealed that over 500 films, more than 350 series and a slate of 26 exclusive Disney+ Originals will be available on its Disney+ SVoD platform on launch day in the UK.

Launching on March 24th, subscribers will be able to watch blockbuster movies such as Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, and (nearly) all of the Star Wars saga, as well as original live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian; and Oscar-winning documentaries such as Free Solo, along with classic Disney series such as Hannah Montana and original shorts including Toy Story spin-off Forky Asks a Question.
The service also includes seasons 1 – 30 of iconic animated series The Simpsons (previously doubted for the UK library), with over 600 episodes available for subscribers to stream. Season 31 will be available to stream from November 2020.

I have all those movies on DVD/Blue Ray, Free Solo has already been on other platforms, the simpsons? Come on. And I watched the Mandalorian via other means.

the only stuff I will be interested in will be the Loki & Winter Soldier / Falcon series and future mandalorian and Star Wars series.

Not everyone has a massive DVD library or is willing to circumvent region blocking.

Almost everything on Disney+ is of interest to my entire household ... I didn’t even have to start working on missus Chris to get her to agree we should subscribe - she came right out with it herself.

Given that protested and was adamant I wouldn’t subscribe to it. I did at the last minute. £4 a month was too tempting.

But then after I’ve subscribed that it only works on Samsung smart tv’s made after 2016. Can’t remember how old mine is but it’s obviously pre-2016 as I can’t download the app.

Not a total loss as I can play it on the tv via my iPad but a load faff I could do without.

There’s meant to be an app on Amazon’s Fire TV stick if you can get hold of one. If your tv is getting a little old to get new apps, Fire TV is a very cost effective way of solving the problem.

There is. It's what I'm using because my TV is very old now

Mine is only about 2015/16, I must have just missed the cut.

I’ve got amazon and Netflix and YouTube and everything else.

Anyway, great fun tonight just watched “The Black Hole” with 9 year old little Pierre, and after initial wonky effects disdain, he sat through it all and loved it.

It’s good but my god, it hasn’t aged well, certainly not as well as Star Wars.

Lucasfilm invented a lot of the techniques necessary to make Star Wars look that good. Lucas was a driven man - even years later he still wanted it to look better which is why he tinkered with the special editions and why he has made it so hard to get hold of the originals ever since.

I didn’t know The Black Hole was on Disney+ but I’ll be searching it up now. A group of us were totally obsessed with it as kids. I had a Black Hole flask with my school lunchbox. :D
