There is no-one who has seen Dark Matter who does not recall "Dunking the cosmic doughnut"! I could be wrong though.

the only thing keeping going atm is seeing how the JSA story line pans out. If there are any stupid and annoying people in that I'll be leaving it. Pat is all about how many stupid facial expressions he can pull off and it is doing my head in. On a side note though, I picked up on a lot of locations in the first ep. I am 99% sure that the high street in used in their local town is the same as the one in Smallville.

I don't remember that scene at all but to be fair I had no idea who she was until they began promoting Batwoman

Not really the scene but the episode. How much attention do you give to the storyline?

That refreshed my memory. I did think she looked familiar at the time, I just didn't put 2+2 together. Thanks for the clips.

The Dark Matter cancellation really annoyed.

yeah, it was really getting going and I would love to have seen an extra season to wrap things up. Series like this are examples of when I wish I could win the euromillions and fund an additional season.

Javicia Leslie is the new Batwoman. I wonder how they are going to spin this in?

A black lesbian, who would have guessed. Thats all the show cares about.

Should be fun getting all that hair in the bat suit (or whatever she wears).

Re: Batwoman

I was going to say the same thing. I think it is sad what things have come to. At the end of the day it shouldn't matter who is cast in a particular role as long as the character they are portraying is a realistic representation. Who cares if the person portraying a gay character isn't gay as long as the performance is believable and they do justice to the character and what they stand for? You wouldn't know otherwise and people win oscars for it ffs. The same can happen in reverse. I am sure there are many many gay actors who play straight characters and we are non the wiser when we see them on tv. I have seen a few articles over the last month or so where celebs/actors have come out saying they are resigning from their current job because they are a white actor voicing a BAME character in an animated series. Who cares? They were obviously very good at it because we couldn't tell the difference, and it shouldn't make any different anyway. It does my head in.

Re: Batwoman

I think they said the storyline is going to have the Kate go missing and the ongoing story will be to explain why. Though they said Batman is missing, and have yet to make any attempt to say why (at UK pace anyway).

Re: Batwoman

I watched the latest BatWoman tonight, yet more of the same "police are bad" & lets randomly shoot one of the main black characters for no reason just to rub it in" (since they are one of the main characters, they are probably not dead).

BatWoman's viewing figures dropped badly during season one, from 1.2 million to 740,000 (avg was 995,000) and have tanked even more this season, that last episode hit a new low of just 340,000. I'm on the verge of joining those who have given up, its only really Alice that still keeps me interested in it.

Re: Batwoman

Ruby Rose has been flapping her mouth this week ;

Quote:

Writing on her Instagram story on Wednesday, Rose posted a string of allegations of abuse, negligence and poor working conditions.
Warner Bros said it did not hire Rose for a second season after receiving complaints about her behaviour.

The company described Rose's account as "revisionist history... aimed at the producers, the cast and crew, the network, and the studio".
Quote:

"The truth is that Warner Bros Television had decided not to exercise its option to engage Ruby for season two of Batwoman based on multiple complaints about workplace behaviour that were extensively reviewed and handled privately out of respect for all concerned,"
I dont care much for the show in general atm, but I think Ruby was worse than her replacement.
