I wasn't referring to the amount of time it takes i was referring to him saying he would turn off updates, and was pointing out support is due to stop in early 2020. :)

No Windows 10, it been slow ever since I 'upgraded' to it.

I didn't think you could turn updates off on Windows 10, not officially anyway?

My guess is your HDD is too slow or not much space on it.

Basically you tell it you are on a metered connection. You then get to pick when updates are downloaded.

Updates can be deferred for 7days by selection only!
