Texas executes five times more convicts than the next most prolific state. If they have managed to take this mass-murderer alive you can be sure he’ll go to the chair.

I read the Ohio ******* killed his own sister, but I don't know if she was a target or wrong place wrong time.

A non-white person kills dozens of people and the Democrats don't bat an eyelid. They actually want to encourage more killers into the US.

The former Crips gang leader and convicted murderer Stanley "Tookie" Williams was executed by lethal injection in California today.
...
He has always maintained he did not commit the murders, but did apologise for founding the Crips gang in Los Angeles in 1971. The gang has been blamed for hundreds of deaths during decades of fighting with rival gangs.
Quote:

Around 2,000 death penalty protesters gathered outside the prison today where the Rev Jesse Jackson, a supporter of Williams, addressed the crowd and folk singer Joan Baez performed on a temporary stage.
...
Williams' cause also attracted supporters such as rap star Snoop Dogg, a former Crips member; actor Jamie Foxx, who played Williams in a film, and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Wow, a 14 year old story about crimes committed 40 years ago, and it was 4 people he was found guilty of murdering (bad enough), not "dozens’, as you state...

He led the gang that was responsible for hundreds of deaths. A bit like saying Stalin didn't kill anybody, therefore he is innocent.

I posted(#6) a much more recent story, which is an example of what is going on everyday without comment from the Democrats.

Over the past decade, annual estimates of the number of gangs have averaged around 27,000 nationally.
Following a yearly decline from 1996 to a low in 2003, annual estimates steadily increased through 2012.
The most recent estimate of more than 30,000 gangs represents a 15 percent increase from 2006 and is the highest annual estimate since 1996.

Most participants in gang crimes tend to be young, male, and either black or Hispanic.

I think if you start your position with "The Democrats .. they actually want to encourage more killers into the US" then I am afraid you may as well stop there.

To be honest, it does sound a bit unhinged?

Unfortunately it’s a pointless debate, insofar as nothing will change.

We have discussed it a lot before, and these mass shootings are terrible, but they pale into insignificance.

They pale into insignificance, when you consider that 100 Americans are shot and killed every day, Everyday.

https://lawcenter.giffords.org/facts...ce-statistics/

“Mass Shootings”. Well they get the headlines but 30 here, 10 there...... still only 40% of the average daily total. Hardly newsworthy.

One on one killings are a bit different to mass indiscriminate shootings...or don't you think so. ??

No. No I don’t

Why do you think they are different?

There’s enough “mass shootings” in the USA to make them routine anyway.

You’re 4x more likely to be caught up in a mass shooting that be killed by terrorist.

https://www.businessinsider.com/us-g...18-3?r=US&IR=T

The chances of being impacted by gun violence in he USA is more than being in a car accident.

36,000 Americans killed by guns each year.

The post in question sounds like it should be on 8chan, but I guess that site's not working.

You can't see the difference between someone being shot for instance in a robbery gone wrong or a drug deal feud vs a nutter going to a shopping mall and shooting multiple random people on some ideological rampage.

You're just as dead, either way.

It's different as far of the motivation. We tackle and treat terrorist incidents differently to day-to-day crime. Obviously, there is no reason you cannot tackle drug/gang-related crime as well.
