Keep it up �� at no point has Jim worked under Russo or made the choice to work with him.

Russo’s only ability is to convince people he knows what he’s doing. I won’t link to it as it is full of f-bombs but search on YouTube for “Jim Cornette legendary Vince Russo rant”

Russo has never denied a word of it.

I bet he didn't, how that man kept being employed is way beyond me, it's like he hypnotised people with bs and you know how much power chief writers have, so whilst corny can say I never worked for him he wasn't telling Russo what to do or making his life miserable it was the opposite

He’s….never claimed to have told Russo what to do because he didn’t have the authority to do so. And making him miserable really isn’t Corny’s style.

That's kind of what I was saying, Russo was in charge, he was literally finishing careers with his bs and corny could dp nothing to stop him, must have been really hard for him thinking about it, watching someone like Stevie Williams big chance ruined because of some bogus bs gimmick must have been so frustrating

He may have been head writer but that didn’t put him in charge. All ideas had to go through Vince.

Russo may have come up with the idea of Brawl for All but he still had to sell it to Vince. Just because Russo came up with an idea did not mean it would go ahead.

No it didn't but I remember Mick Foley saying despite Vince being hands on if he trusted you and liked your idea he'd let you run with it even if he had reservations, like when Foley brought 60 year old Terry Funk back in the early 2000s and I do believe Corny when he said he tried his hardest to stop it, just boggles the mind that after such a fiasco people including Vince still gave Russo top jobs

There’s a big difference between being given freedom to use ideas, and being in some kind of authority. Russo had no authority over anyone other than Ed Ferrara.

The reason Russo used to get the top jobs is he’s great at telling people he knows his stuff. He told WCW he alone was responsible for the attitude era, for Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Rock etc

He sold Dixie Carter a bill of goods too by saying he’d take TNA to the next level.

All of these claims being eventually exposed for the BS that they were is the single reason why Russo can’t get a job anywhere now despite his brown-nosing to Tony Khan on twitter whenever he gets the chance.

And no one checked!! Steve Austin came up with his gimmick himself and she should have asked him, unbelievable, they kind of deserved what they got but the fans didn't, did she not watch wcw when he made himself and David arquette champions

I think AEW need to copy their Germany deal and sign an deal with Sky Sports.

WCW Nitro was shown every Friday on TNT UK.
WCW Thunder was shown every Saturday on TNT UK.
WCW PPVS was shown in German on DSF every month on an Saturday night.
