Re: BBC HD swap mistakes

Are series links on BBC2 HD automatically updating now? I had one that failed so re-set it to 102 but another series link I can't reset as it is not on at the moment and I can't change the channel to 102 either in the series link+ menu.

Any ideas how to fix? Can only think of changing to a wishlist

I think it gives you the option to set up a Series Link when you do a search for a programme that isn't currently showing.

First go to My Shows & Recordings > Mange Series Link+ >Find the greyed out show show you want to change > Press OK > Series Link Info > Modify options > Do the quoted suggestion of 1701-e above.

I don't know what that reason is, my guess is VM and/or BBC didn't want to confuse viewers with too many changes all at once.

And how's that working out for them??

:D

Well the BBC went first and it was just two channels (obv regional complications) so they probably got the best of it. The UKTV renumbering was much wider and with no real obvious logic (though I suspect it will become moreso after the BBC/Discovery split details are revealed to the public) so that probably went worse.
